Jesus Christ...The Only Way

Would you like to know for sure that you are going to heaven? Would you like to know for sure you have eternal life?

The Bible contains some Bad News and some Good News.

First the Bad News.

Bad News #1.  Each of us is a sinner in God's sight.  Romans 3:23 tells us, "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."  None of us can meet God's standard of perfection.

Bad News #2.  What we earn by sinning is death.  Romans 6:23a tells us, "For the wages of sin is death."

Death occurs on three levels.
  1. Spiritual Death:  Our sin separates us from God.
  2. Physical Death:  Because we are spiritually dead, we are in the process of dying physically.
  3. Second Death:  If spiritual death is not remedied before physical death, we are doomed to Second Death, and eternity separated from God in what the Bible calls "the Lake of Fire."
Now the Good News!

Good News #1.  God loves each of us so much He sent His Son, Jesus, to pay our death penalty for us!  Romans 5:8 tells us, "But God demonstrates His love toward us in this, that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us!"

Good News #2.  We receive God's gift of eternal life simply by trusting in Jesus!  John 3:16 tells us, "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life!"

1 John 5:13 tells us, "These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, in order that you may know that you have eternal life."

What is your choice?

If you have put your trust in Jesus, please email us at fhcchurch@yahoo.com so that we can rejoice with you!
